SCRIP PROGRAM

All Souls families are required to generate a minimum of $150.00 in revenue for each school year (as per family agreement).

Scrip year runs from May 1^st of the current year to April 30^th of the following year.

You will be billed at the beginning of the school year for the full balance.  Contributions will be deducted monthly when purchases are made.

There are 3 programs (Paper Scrip/Gift cards, eScrip, S.H.A.RE.S. cards) in which you can fulfill your agreement.

  PAPER SCRIP/GIFTCARDS – These are ordered from the school office every Friday (except holidays).  To place an order, obtain a Scrip Order Form from the school office (these will also be distributed every 2 weeks in the family envelope) or download the form from the web site. Return the completed form to the office by 9am Friday morning.  Your order will be processed and distributed the following week.

Note: Your contribution to the school will be based on your purchases & those percentages on the order form.

  ESCRIP – Participating merchants (such as SAFEWAY) will make contributions to the school based on the purchases you have made, just by using a registered debit/credit card.  Your purchases will be tracked monthly and available to you on www.escrip.com.

Click on Group ID, enter 140728058 for All Souls School

Then Search, Click on All Souls School, NEXT

Enter Name, Address, City, State, Zip and Email -- NEXT

Enter your Grocery Card number (obtained from Safeway, etc.) -- NEXT

                  Register your debit/credit cards – NEXT

                  Register any retail/giftcards – Macy’s – NEXT

                 Confirm all information is correct -- CONFIRM

                 You are now registered for eScrip!

            ESCRIP ONLINE – Visit www.escrip.com

                        Click on AT THE ONLINE MALL

                        Various merchants will appear, select your store and shop as usual

Participating online merchants will calculate your contributions automatically.

ESCRIP DINING – Local participating restaurants will contribute up to 5% of

your total towards your eScrip account.

Dine at that restaurant and pay with a credit/debit card you've registered with eScrip.  Your contribution will be shown at the end of the month.

  S.H.A.R.E.S. CARD – To obtain a S.H.A.R.E.S. card for Lucky, SaveMart, and FoodMaxx, please stop by the school office. 

When making purchases at Lucky, SaveMart, and FoodMaxx, have the cashier slide the S.H.A.R.E.S. card at the register.  The school will get 3% of all qualified purchases (excludes sales tax, gift cards, postage stamps, tickets, money order, fuel, lotto, etc).  However, this amount is given to school as one lump sum.  In order to credit your personal account, you must turn in your receipts with your child’s name and grade to the school office. 

Your total contribution to the school will be a sum of Paper Scrip/Gift cards, eScrip, and S.H.A.R.E.S. receipts.

Note: If there is a remaining balance at the end of April 2010, an invoice will be billed to you for the balance.

If you elect not to participate in Scrip, please pay $150.00 by September 30^th.

Scrip Program Update

As you may have noticed, the Family Agreement for the 2009-2010 school year had changes to the Scrip program. On a positive note, the contribution commitment has been lowered to $150 for the year.

HERE IS SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW:

·      Scrip will be tracked starting now: May of 2009 through April 2010 for the 2009/2010 school year and DMS will show a $150 amount due

·      A Scrip Coordinator will update DMS monthly by subtracting your monthly contribution from the net due so you can see your remaining requirement for the year

·      The Scrip gift cards that can be ordered via the “blue sheet” provide a much higher percentage contribution than eScrip. For example, if you spent $325 in a month at Safeway:

o   eScrip would yield less than $3

o   Safeway Gift Cards would yield $13 (this would allow you to meet your commitment!) – Please buy gift cards and consider buying enough to cover the three summer months!!!

·      eScrip allows you to register more than one card in each category so please consider registering friend’s and family’s cards in your eScrip account.

·      eScrip.com offers an online mall that provides links to many web sites and provides contribution to the school for online purchases (contribution automatically shows up in your eScrip purchase report)

·      S.H.A.R.E.S. card also counts for purchases at Lucky, SaveMart, and FoodMaxx! However, you must turn in your receipts with your name to the school office to get credit

·      Your contribution will be a sum total of Scrip gift cards, eScrip including online mall, and S.H.A.R.E.S. receipts. With a little extra effort, we all will be able to meet this commitment while spending as we normally do!  Note that any remaining balance at the end of April 2010 is required to be paid or you can purchase gift cards such that the contribution brings the net balance due to zero

·      If you elect not to participate in Scrip, please pay $150 by the start of the new school year
