"Christian community is not merely a concept to be taught but a reality to be lived."
(Pope John Paul II)
All Souls Catholic School is a community of faith where we believe that each child is a
unique creation of God blessed with a special set of talents and gifts. Each child
deserves to approach life with a sense of self worth while developing a personal
relationship with God.
We feel that each child deserves the opportunity to develop his or her God-given
potential to the fullest. Our mission is to guide each child toward the fulfillment of this
potential in all areas of the child's life: spiritual, intellectual, social, psychological,
physical, and aesthetic. We hope to enrich and deepen each student's faith by
promoting good self-esteem, self-discipline, skills, and knowledge.
All Souls School affirms that parents are the first and primary educators of their
children. Through a spirit of understanding and cooperation, we hope to create an
atmosphere in which teachers, students, and parents can join together in the total faith
community to come alive, to grow, and to team. We recognize that community is at the
heart of Christian education.
We believe that children are our future and that educators and parents help to shape
that future. We're working to nurture enduring values such as compassion, respect for
differences, and peaceful conflict resolution. We hope to influence students and families
to be dynamic agents of change in society in the areas of social and racial justice,
human dignity, freedom, and peace. By providing a quality Catholic education we help
the church fulfill its commitment to the dignity of the individual. We will provide an
environment that fosters a belief in the sacredness of the human person and
awareness that we are born into one worldwide human family.
We hope to create an atmosphere for teaming that combines structure and creativity
while fostering an enthusiasm for life-long. It is our aim to create a climate in which faith
will gradually mature and enable our students to assume the responsibilities placed on
them by Baptism. Toward this end, we strive to maintain a joyous, happy environment
which promotes love, understanding, respect for and acceptance of self and others.
