Create a full page magazine ad to encourage others to give witness to Jesus. A witness is someone who has seen something happen, and knows the truth. Therefore, a witness of Jesus, knows about the good deeds Jesus did and wants to share those good deeds with the rest of the world, not only through words, but more importantly through actions.

Create a magazine ad for a witness of Jesus that includes:
  • A descriptive paragraph about what gifts of the holy spirit someone will use while giving witness to Jesus.
  • The fruits of the Holy Spirit that someone will cultivate while giving witness to Jesus,
  • Some realistic things can someone do in order to give witness to Jesus, including why doing those things, will help someone be a witness of Jesus.
Just like a real life magazine ad, your work should include:
  • A large headline
  • An image
  • A paragraph that explains what the ad is trying to get you to buy or how it's trying to get you to act. Look on google classroom for examples.

We have been talking about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how those gifts are strengthened in us at Confirmation.
 
From the 7 gifts, pick one gift that you feel you are already beautifully blessed with, and pick one that you are looking forward to developing more as your life progresses.
 
Once you've picked the two gifts, on the back of worksheet, and for each gift, please write 4-5 sentences about that gift. You can write about anything you want relating to those gifts, but here are some questions to help you get started if you are stuck.

We see advertisements every day on the Internet, TV, on billboards, in newspapers, and in magazines. Advertisements are put in place to make us want something or persuade us to buy something.
 
For your Chapter 3 test please create and advertisement for Three of the Seven Sacraments. Please pick one sacrament from each category (Initiation, Service, Healing) and create an ad for each. Please make sure that your ad mentions something about what the Sacrament does, or why people should want to receive it.
 
We will begin working on this in class on Wednesday November 25th, and you will have some class time on Monday November 30th as well.
